Coming out strong in their press conference, Apple revealed the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch today. iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are set for release this fall and Apple Watch for early 2015.
Here’s a brief breakdown of what you can expect for the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and Apple Watch.
1. A bigger screen. A thinner bezel.
Coming in at 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches for the 6 Plus, the iPhone grows in screen size and resolution. The 4.7 inch iPhone will have a pixel density of 1334-by-750 and the 6 Plus will be full 1080p. (1920×1080) Both models are under 7.1mm in thinness and have rounded corners. Being skinny never felt so good.
2. Faster processor.
The new A8 chip has a 64 bit architecture and will have over 2 GHZ of processing power. What does that mean? It means that apps and the OS will run faster and smoother than ever!
3. Better Camera
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will feature full 1080p video recording with 60fps and up to 240fps slow motion video recording. Not to mention a whole new autofocus and 43 megapixel panorama feature. Oh and did we mention the burst mode for taking selfies? #OMG
4. Apple Pay
Taking payment processing to a whole new level, the new iPhone will feature a NFC antenna that lets you pay at participating retailers just by holding the fingerprint scanner on your phone.
5. iOS 8
iOS 8 is a huge upgrade for everyone on iOS 7. From better messaging to a plethora of health apps, iOS 8 promises to make your life easier.
6. Apple Watch
Apple watch gives you over 2 million ways to tell time. Customize it to whatever makes you happy. Everything from maps, music and photos to health monitoring and phone calls, Apple Watch measures the way you move and lets you pay for coffee with your wrist.
